190.758 just did a Yumling fluid exchange in early September and needs the noisy sway bar bushings and links changed, that’s it. Most of the time I leave my W212 in the garage just to get the thrill of driving the old tank, never fails to put a smile on my face whenever I’m taking over the late model plastic garbage cans🤣🤣

I feel like I found a unicorn.
I’ve just come into possession of E 320 Avant-garde 2000, 46000km.
original first aid kit, unopened. Complete bulb set from original.
harmonic balancer replacement done under recall. No rust - inspected in all usual places
Beginning issue with roof liner adhesive at rear.p which will need attention.
Drives impeccably. I want to keep it in as new condition.
What should I be absolutely checking or renewing?

I'd like to stay noted as "123456 miles" in Raymond's sheet. However, I must update that I've recently crossed 150,000 miles. That's a major accomplishment considering how hard it's been to maintain this car.

It was unintentional that my trip counter was at 14.8 miles. I'm kicking myself for not taking this picture 0.2 miles later so it would read 150,000 and 150.

Pleased to see that many cars are reaching high mileages. Our 98 has 250k km or about 155k miles on it. Had it since 2001. Had no serious issues. Just hope this continues. Car has minimal value on used market, yet is still such a good reliable car.

Update om my 1999 E300 TD.....366,000 kms (227,000 miles).....Just regular wear and tear, plus replacing worn parts. Zero engine or tranny issues. Sadly, the headliner will need to be done this winter....

Cheers

Regardless of what MB/DC says my local dealer changed the fluid in my tranny at 60k, and advises me to get it done again in another 60k. Lets be realistic there is no such thing as "lifetime lubrication" or whatever MB/DC are calling it nowdays.
I am hearing every 40K miles to 60K miles, I had mine on my E430 done at 60K and will have it done next week again at 50K. That "don't change it" is very old advice

Mine is now up to 110K miles. My Dad bought it new and just putted around town in it - I am doing

Yes, but let's be honest here - there are Cadillac lifetimes, and what we Mercedes driver think of as a vehicle's lifetime [;)]
They found over time the clutch pack keeps wearing and making debris - the filter eventually gets clogged - if one doesn't want to change their fluid filter they can change their transmission every 100K miles or so ;-)

I guess similar to Maikeru I came across another unicorn. My new to me 1998 E300 TDT wagon has 83,600 KM on it.
Still need to continue working some of the issues. This is after I replaced the springs to return the car back to stock height.
