16 months and 120,000 km.

Regular A and B services (some lite - oil and fluids only).
Wiper blades at 110,000 km (14 months).

Fuel gelled last year, I use PowerService now when it gets cold (below -10 cel).

Changed the windshield last spring (logging truck threw ma a rock).

No other problems.
Original Conti's still have 7/32" so they will do next spring. I use studded Nokian's in the winter on 17" RSSW rims.

Couldn't be happier with my Cnd spec 250.

Happy Motoring!
Chris

I have 76,000 miles on my 2010 GLK350 4Matic that I've had for a little over a year. Picked it up used with 54,000 on it.
I've had no trouble except a cracked windshield needing replacement, a low beam bulb, wipers and tires a few months ago.
I change the oil myself using MB specs (10K miles and Mobil 1 Euro 0-40) and Blackstone Labs gives it a clean bill of health.

100k, bought brand new from dealer, worst issue I had to replace all 6 spark plugs after failure in cylinder 4 / coil D light came on. Replaced all 6 spark plugs and only the #4 coil and then the check engine light went away and I get noticeable better gas mileage now, was overdue. Dealer wanted $2000, so I did it myself, but not really a DIY as it takes quite a bit of labor (~3.5 hours billable at dealer) as it’s nearly impossible to access coil 6 unless you take out the engine computer at a minimum, and air box.

also have slow leaking left and right front engine covers… still haven’t addressed these, as the dealer wants $1200 to reseal them. But plan to steam clean engine and potentially attempt to reseal myself when I get some time.

this car is much more expensive to maintain then my w204, but i still like the car

I teach Collision Repair at a High School. Just got word that a local Doctor is donating a 2013 GLK 550 4Matic to my Program. I haven't seen it yet but it has a "front driveshaft issue" and of course the "proper" fix according to MB is a new transmission and transfer case to the tune of 9k. I'm told it basically looks new. Catch is it has somewhere North of 300,000 miles. I'll share photos and info when it gets delivered.

Well she arrived. Sure enough 327,890 miles and all that is wrong is the front shaft that is unavailable. Actually it’s just a $30 u-joint but it’s unreplaceable inside that shaft housing. Have to source a used one. Bearings will be replaced as well while I’m in there plus a fluid service.

Some extra wood on the dash?

If you're able to put some vehicle details in your profile it's helpful. Apart from anything else, our forum software won't look to your posts as spam and ask us to approve your posts. (Empty profiles can have that effect..)

My bad, I added some info. I promise I'm not a robot, Nigerian Prince, or Russian hacker lol.

Thats just the Walnut these GLKs come with but it is alot and it is beautiful. Looks like 1 tree will only do about 2 vehicles...

I just cannot get over the condition of this vehicle with over 327,700 miles! Got it up on the lift and it only could use 1 lower control arm replaced (2 others obviously replaced recently). No corrosion at all and the overall vehicle looks like it’s 3 yrs old. Literally fix this output shaft and she would be mechanically perfect! Can find Nothing else broken or not functioning.

Well y’all wish me luck, I took the plunge and ordered a rebuilt transfer case input shaft from Maktrans. It’s coming from Poland. Literally the only place on earth I can find that sells them for this price ($561. Shipped). Soon as I did the transaction my bank called me because it looked like fraud. I figure there’s a 50% chance it shows up, we’ll see.

Well I can officially say Maktrans is legit and nothing to fear lol. Output shaft is here. You can see where they cut it open, replace the U-joint, and friction weld it back together, same way the factory assembled it.

Now to order the Bearing kit, Service kit, One time use bolt, and new driveshaft Boot. Then the fun can begin..

I have a 2014 GLK350 w/ 86K miles. Bought new from MB dealership in 2013.

Wear n tear / maintenance:
Replaced brakes (front and rear) at 60K
Replaced wipers once
New Michelin All Season tires at 50K
Replaced both low beam bulbs(even though only driver side went out) at 55k
Replace auxiliary battery twice, currently needs a new one
Installed Interstate battery at 45K

Major work:
Replaced F (#6) ignition coil at 70K
Replaced spark plugs
Replaced intake plenum gaskets (after mistakingly removed the whole thing to replace the coil)
Replaced engine crankcase vent valve at 78K

Cosmetic:
Driver and Passenger bottom seats need replacing. The black MB Tex has peeled away. Extremely unsightly. Not happy with MB. Same thing in my 2012 C250. Surprised at the crappy workmanship/quality of these seats.
