Looking at getting a 190E and was just wondering how many kms is too much, I found one for pretty cheap that has no rust or anything just it has 250,000 kms or 155,000 miles and I was wondering if you guys think it would last another year or so until I can engine and transmission swap it

Depends on if it was maintained properly. 155K miles is not that old. Some people here have over 200K miles. But after 30 years the car will need many items replaced, all the rubber is getting old.

IMHO, there is high chance of numerous parts needing replacing ie shocks, distributor, EHA, brake pads & disc, fluids at the very least. unless of course the previous owner has evidence the car has been maintained very very well

I daily drive a 2.6 w/ 230K on it so high mileage isn't a problem. But you have to find a good example, otherwise a neglected example will cost you $$$.
And if you're looking for a manual swap, hit up member SEC 560 on this forum. He's always got complete manual swap kits for sale.
