Anyone have a ballpark figure on how many C230s were sold in USA in 2005? And how many were Kompressors? Just curious, I have a 2005 C230 Komp and a SLK 280 (I know there were 10,600 of the SLKs sold in USA in 2006).
I would think the 2005 C230s were more like 100,000 or more...that's just a SWAG....I could be way off....
Thanks!

There were 252,300 MY2005 W203 produced worldwide. The C230 Kompressor was the most popular model because of its low price and performance. I'm not sure half of the worldwide W203's would be C230K's but it's probably close. I can tell you that probably 70% of US sales of W203's were C230K's.

I read somewhere researching my car, that they built 280,00 C230k's (coupe) from 2001 to 2006 which is the only production years for the coupes

280,000 coupes sounds about right. Production numbers were in the 50K/year range, so over 6 years, nearly 300K would be a reasonable estimate.
