How have your mods affected the value?
I've owned my car about 5 months now and still love the stock look but I am ready for some mods. I have lurked for a while and noticed that you guys aren't shy about putting some serious cash in your already nice rides.
My question is this; Have any of you made significant mods (body kits, wheels, suspension) and then sold your car? How does the market respond to a modified Benz? Are you likely to lose value or can you ask about the same price a normal Benz would? It just seems to me that a modified car is only valuable to the owner and would actually depreciate the value.
I'd just like to know everyone's thoughts on this.
