Have had a 2000 ML270CDI for about a year that says it has done 100,000KM but recently had to replace both the computer box fan motor and the heater circulating pump. Both had run out of brushes in the motor. Can anyone shed some light on the expected life of these motors? Thanks.

It is climate and driving style dependent. I got almost 175,000 miles out of the ebax fan.
The aux water pump is still working at 194,000 miles. (I probably just jinxed it).
