I have an (used) 1997 SL and am wondering whether it comes with a Bose system. In paricularu, is there any way one can tell whether the audio system is from Bose or not?<br> <br> Thanks in advance!<br>

In the C-Class (W203) there is a little BOSE sticker on the subwoofer. I would expect something similar in your case.

Yes, if the Bose system was installed in your car there should be a Bose logo on your rear speakers.
Also your dealer should be able to look up your VIN and tell you.

Look for option 810 on the datacard that is probably in the back of the service schedule booklet
