The indicator lights on the left and right switches marked 'auto' are always illuminated and system stays in automatic mode no matter which way they are pressed.<br>

All I can find in the manual is 'the system is always at operational readiness, except when manually switched off'....but doesn't say how to switch it off. <p>182.cambridge-01rh16rt.ma.dial-access.att.net

I think when you press the button with icon of a person sitting, that will shut off.
