im wondering how to change the transmission oil. when is a good time to change it and how to change it. can anyone help?

Transmission oil
There is a 5mm alen key in the transmission sump to drain it. When you have drained it, undo the six 13mm bolts holding the sump on, and you will see the filter, it is held on with three philips screws. (It's a messy job).
Don't know what the recommended intervals are in ths US, but in the UK it's every 36k[

]Do not forget to rotate the motor CLOCKWISE till the drain plug is visible through the b...
Do not forget to rotate the motor CLOCKWISE till the drain plug is visible through the bell housing for the torque converter. There is another 5 mm allen in there. Draining is faster and not as messy if you crack the left cooler line loose. (the one above the modulator valve). Total fluid should be around 7.5 qts.
