I removed the two nuts on the passanger side of the air cleaner and loosened the one on the drivers side. I tried to pull the air cleaner off and it would not release. Pull the rubber boot connected to the fresh air<br> intake runner and the vac.hose on top of the <br> air cleaner (if you have'nt)then wiggle the air cleaner side by side while pulling it up.

Manny,<br> I removed all you suggested and tried to shake and pull still no luck. Do I need to pull harder. I am not able to release the rubber rings between the lower part of the air cleaner and the throttle body.<br> <br> Cliff

Cliff,<br> Another way is turn the air cleaner<br> assembly back and forth like you do the steering wheel.Put a little muscle on it.<br>
