So, I just put my new rims on, and the rears look GREAT! But my fronts sit alittle out of the well. Is there a way to get them to sit further in?

Some sort of adjustment.. Change the hub.. Machine the hub.. What do I have to do here, its killing me! :crybaby2:

What size are the rims and tires, front and rear.

What is the offset of the rims?

If the front tires are 225 - 235's, then the rim's offset is wrong!

They are a 235, on a 8.5 inch rim, with a 30 offset. (I know if the offset number were bigger, they would sit further in. but I'm pretty sure this is how all the SL rims come on the newer years..) Any suggestions..?

There's an old post maybe on the other forum about somebody having a machine shop shave 10mm off of the inside hubs of the wheels to make R129 wheels fit the CLK. So that's a possiblity but if it were my wheels I would first make darn sure it's a good solution.

Hi mate.

I have to admit, this is the first time I have heard of this.

Are they replicas... and are they even wheels for a Benz?

I too am looking forward to seeing your pictures.

They are authentic 5-spoke AMG wheels from a newer SL, the R230 body style.

Its raining here, but I'll definitely get some pictures up so you guys can see what i mean.
