I have a 2007 CLK that has iPod integration on COMAND. I want to use a standard mp3 player, instead of an iPod, thus needing an auxilary input instead of the iPod input. Is there a "hidden" aux jack anywhere, or was totally deleted to install the iPod kit? Thanks for your input!

There's a Aux-in inside the glove box of my 2001 E430. It's on the left wall.
I can select Aux via the Comand. Your 2007 car may also have it.

On a 2007 CLK the aux input is typically on the right side of the glove box. In my car, the iPod connection is there, in its place. When I hit the aux on COMAND, that currently controls the iPod input. I'm wondering if I removed the glove box, might there be factory aux wiring hiding somewhere? Although the iPod integration kit was an expensive option, I would really rather have a standard auxilary input, instead.
