Hello,

I search a little bit around this forum and the service manual, but couldn't find anything helpful, so I really appreciate your input!

I do have two leaking hoses on my '89 300SE Euro Spec.

The one is the coolant bypass hose to the cylinder head and the other one is the oil line from the VTP 162 tandem pump to the ASD/self-leveling reservoir.

My questions would be:

- Is there a good way to replace the bypass hose without pulling the complete water pump?
- What is the easiest way to get the ASD/self-leveling oil reservoir out in order to fit a new oil line at the bottom of the reservoir? Are there any special requirements when opening the ASD/level control system?

Thanks for your help,
steh-fan

Wow, this is getting complicated. I was at Northside Imports today and called the local dealer, but they don't have the ASD oil line in their EPC system.
Does anybody know the part number by chance, so that I can order the right hose? It's connected to the ASD/self-levelling reservoir as part 'A' on the diagram.

Cheers,
