I ordered the other one on E-Bay from ANH Auto parts I think it was 64.00. I have yet to install but it appears to be of good quality. I looked at the other but kind of figured people would already know it was a Benz.

I'm not particularly fond of the seller.
But, that's just my gut feeling through some emails.
Ditto,

I have contacted this seller via email asking about other products... I did not exactly like the communication either...

I however, and to be fair, have bought one of 129 motoring products (cup holder) via 3rd party (second hand) and truth be told, the cup holder fit is not too bad... the quality of the plastic horrible, but the labor and precision of cut is great... certainly not worth 120 dollars though, thus, I bought it used for $30.

anyway, enough with the rant, I would get an OEM pad, the Merc tristar does not belong under the hood, I am not sure how that would look decent few months in, after it is exposed to heat, oil, and gases under the hood...

My original hood pad is unmarked and perfect after 90,000 miles and 14 years, I'd buy the original. It's like knockoff italian leather shoes, I'd always know that they were fake.

Actually yes, looking closely at that pad, it is lacking the texture of the factory one... doesnt look good IMO...
