I wanted to add a slicker look to my clk320. I've seen other cars where the original mercedes hood ornament is replaced with a flatter one. So I bought one online but its not a perfect fit...<br>
Has anyone else had similiar experience or know of a site/place where I can get a better fitted flat mercedes hood ornament?<br>

Which one did you get ? There are two kinds...

the one where it is attached by double sided tape and the other where the two are screwed together. The second really won't attach too tightly but it is secure enough. I'd rather go with this then sticking that logo in.

Have you try to tight the nut more? And you have to CENTER it yourself on the hood.Try autoclass.net

I did not know that there were two kind. My is the screw type.

Yup two kinds. The screw type comes from the SL and the other from the ML.

You have to get one that is adapted to fit (more)

Evosport sells them for $30 I think
