Just wanted to know if anyone else has this problem. My 94 E420 cuts out its power several times while the rmp climbs to 4 5 or 6 thousand with the pedal pushed all the way. It feels like the car is hesatating to keep going faster.

Recently had the distributor caps and plugs changed but didnt have anything to do with this problem.
Thanks in advance

Did you have the cutting out problem before having the dist cap and plugs changed? Were the rotors changed out as well?

had a similar problem on my 1994 Jag i gave it gas rpm climed, but the car stayed in place, gave the car to a mechanic, said that the fuel pump was bad. cost me $800 to replace it, now the car runs great. i don't know if this going to help you but check your fuel system.
