so i have bought these for arround 520$ with shipping and stuff, now i know that i have to put an HID kit in order to get the pure white sharp light, but i've recently seen these cree LED sets and they claim (ultra super extra 200% brighter) and all commercial talking stuff which you never trust.

Have anyone tried them before.. or have a suggestion ?? i really wanna get rid of the halogen bulbs once they arrive.

I had started a new thread about those headlights. I think you're the first person on the forum to install them, would you mind taking pictures the more the better! As far as your question goes, does your car have the factory bi-xenon setup or projectors? Either way I would buy a DDM tuning hid kit. The 55w 6k is what I recommend to everyone. I have seen and read about those bulbs you are talking about and I would stay away from them. It just seems like another cheap eBay product that could give you a lot of problems esp. on this car.

yeah I have the factory xenon stuff which i will take the high quality ballasts from. and for sure i will not only take pictures but also a video to show them in real world light situations, I kept looking and looking and looking for some real non product photography pictures, but didn't find any. so just got bored and sent my money to china stores :crying, well it says that the item is located somewhere in california ans gets shipped by USPS, but i doubt it's made there, now i have to wait arround 1 month with my heart in my a** worried about the cheap quality issues.

I got the ones branded "Lifetime LED" from the website of the same name. Again, my bike is not CANbus wired, so they work as is, and are H4 bulbs.
They do have seperate controllers, sorta like HID ballasts that plug into the main headlight connectors. Then those plug into the actual LED. Also they have built in cooling fans on the LED, so fitting in an S Class headlight could be difficult. Certainly couldn't seal them into the light as my 430's halogen H7 main beams are.
I, of course, have no idea what the aftermarket units look like that are being discussed here.

Attention,
I Am Totally -and very strangely- Satisfied
the beams are amazingly sharp and bright, i am planning to add a 55W HID Kit instead of the Hallo Lights (that would be later after some repairing job is done for the face including the bumper and the grill)

Here's a video of the high beams and fog lights and all other kinds of lights including,,, umm but i have a bad habit of not leaving anything without mentioning some negative sides (man I must be a University professor :p )

the cons of these headlights as i see them are:

-the lenses are frameless which shows a small gap between the chrome housing and the lens.

since the ballasts are already there i will use them, except if they are not compatible with 55W which i think they're not :\ but anyways for the fog lights i will get those cree LEDs and see whats what, and thats for two reasons, first the welcoming light function would be really beautyful with a flashing white light instead of a slowly heating hallo, and secondly because it wount really matter if it's going to be a little weaker since its a secondary bulb and my neighbours barely know something called fog.
