Hi everyone...

After lurking for about 3 months I finally took the plunge last week, here is the pictures of my car: jorijori - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Thanks especially to MTI who has given me lots of advice. I will restore her back to her original beauty but in a different color, either brilliant silver or palladium silver, yes I know it's not original but I think she will look more menacing & sportier in silver shade. BTW, can anyone help me with a wiring diagram (all), the car is in the dealership but they don't have the 190E workshop manual since 190E was never officially sold here.

TIA
Oemar

You're welcome. The car looks better than you described. The UK Haynes manual for the four cylinder W201 will cover your wiring diagram needs and may be more appropriate for your non-US model.

Thx MTI, I got the Haynes US model covering 2.3 8V & 16V & it has only 1 wiring diagram (does not differentiate b/w 8V or 16V). According to the book seller, the UK model does not cover 16V. My questions:
1. Is the wiring diagram the same for LHD and RHD?
2. Is the wiring diagram the same for RHD 8V and RHD 16V?

The reason I'm changing color is because I don't like smoke silver, it looks okay for an elegant sedan but not for a sports sedan. My plan is to repaint it in brilliant/palladium silver with EV02 wheels in gunmetal & re-upholters the seat with grey/red piping. In short I wanna give it a contemporary looks to a 20 yrs old car. IMO, W201 looks better than W203 / W202.

Thx
