I hope I am not overstepping a line here, but a very small sample of Horst's (Tuetone) beautiful SEC. I hope he does not mind. It is a beautiful example envied by all of us that have seen it.

Again, hope I am not stepping out of line by posting pics...mods feel free to delete this post if you think Tuetone would not want this post.

Greg, Horst would not mind at all...

I know he has some mixed emotion about the completion of this very rare complete mechanical restoration. Such extreme dedication was put into this car as it well shows.

For those who may not have been around when Horst and Jerry (and others) took the time, effort and money to truely rip apart, replace, then put back together just about every mechanical bit on this beautiful SEC, it would be rewarding to you to spend several hours reading the thread that Jim (Cascade) has posted above.

Simply remarkable reading as well as great pictures and part numbers that are surely going to help you sooner or later during your w126 tenure.
