I have a 98' E320 4matic. my wife recently left the front driver door partly open and we had a major thunderstorm come thru that day. needless to say when I got up the next morning, I was suprise to find about an inch of water sitting in the car on the back floor. Since then all sorts of strange things have been happening. for one the anti theft system would go off w/o notice. the trunk will come up, the wiper blades and turn signals wont work and the auto windows are no longer working. Is there anything that can be done to help salvage my precious car? Please help.

If I were you I would remove the battery + connection also and air the car for at least 3 - 4 days or longer if needed to thoroughly dry it. Most of the electronic modules in the car are water tight. You might have water in some sockets and shorting the pins.
Good luck.

You should remove the anode (negative) lead rather than the cathode (positive) lead, as it is easier to do after you remove the small plastic cover.

Then remove the rear seat and ensure that you don't have water in the battery compartment. If so, remove it and dry everything out. You may have intrusion in the PSE module. Let's hope not.

Actually you are right. It is a lot easier to remove Negative lead since there is a special plastic opening at the right side of the rear seat. What I really meant was to make sure the car electrical system was disconnected form the power source to stop further damage.

Wow!!!! Ok, I'd agree with above disconnect the battery, then put a HUGE fan and dehumidifier in it and set them on HIGH. Also, try a dessicant (water absorber) too.

Good luck.

Your mechanical key should always open the locks but you need to check your vacuum pump next to the battery. I had water in my battery compartment in my 98 which drowned that pump. With me none of the locks worked by vacuum only manually and unfortunately there was no trunk release. For you what I would do is check the vacuum pump which I suspect is working if the doors work, unplug the trunk line which is labeled trk (I think) and plug the trunk line into another port. That would put vacuum to the trunk and should do the trick. Tomorrow I will look at mine to see what they are actually labeled.

First things first, don't let it slip with your wife. Make absolutely sure she understands you are not very happy with her leaving the door open and flooding the car, this should be enough for her to give you some no catches blowjob tokens.

Since we've got to the marriage issues.

(Translated by me from Polish.)

During engagement:
SHE: Ciao
HE: Finally. I've been waiting so long
SHE: Would you like me to go?
HE: NOT. How could you think like that? Just the tough is scary.
SHE: Do you love me?
HE: YES. Each time of the day and night.
SHE: Did you cheat on me?
HE: NOT. Never. Why are you asking?
SHE: Would you like to kiss me?
HE: Yes, whenever and any time
SHE: Would you ever hit me?
HE: Are you crazy? You know what kind of man I am.
SHE: Can I trust you?
HE:Yes
SHE: My love.

30 years after the wedding.

read from the bottom up.
