Hey there

My girlfriend have a 1998 CLK 320 and just today the AC fan took a dumped. The compressor seems to be on but no air was coming out of the vents. We try every setting you can think of but still nothing. The fan display on the control unit wasn't spinning like it use to. A few days ago her battery was dead and had to be jump start it. Could that of had a affect to the problem? It's happen before without a problem tho. Sorry if this problem was discussed already. I did try to search but came up empty. Thanks in advance for any help.

Did you check all of the fuses for the Climate Control?

1. Pop the hood.
2. Near the master cylinder there will be a fuse box. Open it.
3 Look at the top of the lid; there is a diagram for fuse locations. Check to make sure they are not blown.

Hope this helps out. Always cheaper to be a fuse than something else. ($$$$)

Well, he is the update. I check the fuses and they're good. I took out the cabin filter and it was pretty dirty. Not sure if it's dirty enough to clog the air flow enough to burn the blower. But if it did, does anyone know how to trouble shoot the blower fan?
