My speedo doesn't work and I don't know what to look for first. I've switched it out with a cluster that works and still no luck so I put the original cluster back in. I have the electronic one in an 85 500SEL. I read that there is a transducer on the tranny but if someone might help me in what to look for or where, that would be great. Oh and I don't have any blown fuses and all other gauges and lights work.

Thank you, Ron. The last image seems to be what I need. I can see the pulse transmitter in the circuit and the tranny hookup. I'll check these for a broken path.
