I have everything installed and the system sounds and looks great. I have a problem w/ the Pionner that maybe someone can help me with.

When I go to the Nav menu it will not allow me to select a destination. The only thing that is active in the screen is the Vicinity button. I have reset the unit a couple times and the positioning of my location is dead on. All the other functions appear to work fine. I got into the 3d menues etc and they all seem fine.

Anyone have any ideas on what I am doing wrong?

Thanks:

Caveat - I am not familiar with this exact unit. But, it sounds like the unit thinks you are driving and has the "setting the destination" function locked out. Most nav systems require a connection to sense whether the car is in park (or has the parking brake engaged) before they allow many on-screen functions to work. Did you attempt to bypass that and maybe get your wires crossed?

Just a thought.
