A set of metric spanners and a ball joint splitter!
Be careful with the spring compressor - many are too heavy to get a good grip on the springs.
It is possible to do it without a compressor:
Jack the car up and place it on 10''stands.
Hold a jack (hydraulic or scissor type)under the lower wishbone arm, break the lower ball joint and carefully lower the jack. The wishbone arm will drop away as far as it will go, then with the spring tension all but gone, you should be able to manouevre the spring out. if you can't, then use the spring compressor for the last bit...
Be sure not to break the ball joint using a tyre lever and hammer as you will inevitably pinch the seal causing the ball joint to wear quicker than it already does...
