Hi,

I have a 2003 E320 and my low beam, left is out. I tried switching the bulb and the thing that holds the bulb (the igniter I think it is, I will call it that from now on). The right one works with all the parts but the left doesn't. I tested to see if there was power on the line that is attached to the igniter. Can anybody tell me which part is the problem.

Thanks.

Is this an aftermarket system or a OE system?
Did you swap components with the other side? I think you did! I assume it didn't solve the problem? Please clarify
You checked the voltage right? was there a current on the problem side?
Is there a message on your dash? what does it say?

It is a OE system
I did swap components with the other side but that didn't work. The other side works with all the parts though.
I checked the voltage and it reads zero, no current.
The dash saids "low beam, left"

Thanks for your help

I don't have a OE system, mine is aftermarket and while the components are similar, I don't know the placement of the components in the OE system.
But I do know that many other members who have a similar MY and OE HID's can help you.
Please be a little patient because of the Thanksgiving Holiday.
