The exhaust system consists of the manifold at the engine block, a catalytic converter, a middle or center resonator/muffler (under passenger seat) and the final or rear muffler with tail pipe. If you want a louder exhaust note, you can delete the center muffler and have a straight pipe welded to the rear muffler and also consider an aftermarket exhaust like the Ansa Supersprint.
