i have a 1998 w202 c240.I have recently discovered a broken spring, so im looking to replace them, but rather than replace them with standerd ones, i want to lower her bout 40mm.getting springs for this car seems to be a bit of a problem.im pulling my hair out trying to find ones to fit it.
i have found 2 different sets.

Mercedes C Class C180/C200/D/C220/230 4 cylinder (Type. W202) From: 1.96

Mercedes C Class C280/C250D/250TD 5 + 6 cylinder (Type. W202) From: 1.96
obviously they don't list the c240 bt being a v6 i was edging more towards the 5+6 cylinder ones, but was wondering if they would fit ok.
any help would be greatly appreciated. thanx SWEEPY p.s.im stuck in the uk.lol

H&R lists 240 along with 280, so your assumtion was correct.
I would guess the 4 cyl. ones are just a tiny bit different due to engine weight.

ahhh cant read :p

anyways, the c240 would probably fit with the 280 because the engine weighs about the same. they are all the same size in diameter i believe, its all just in how much weight they are designed to carry and still hold the car high enough off your wheel.

any recomendations as to what size alloys would fit nice without scrubbing? wanna go 18"'s but might b a bit big, so 17's might b the answer.
