Hi,

I bought 4-NGK LFR6AIX-11 (6619) because others recommended this plugs in other thread.

However, I just found in Amazon.com that ONLY NGK ILFR6A Laser Iridium (3588) fits to my 05 C230K SS and NGK LFR6AIX-11 (6619) doesn't!!!! Can you please help me if I should return them and re-order ones?

Best regards,

Cooldad.

I would go by the "factory approved service products" pamphlet that should be in the pouch with your owner's manual. it is generally more reliable threads or amazon.com.

Thanks Schumicat! I've checked the operator's manual and mine requires 0.8mm electrode gap. What I've bought has 1.1mm gap. I will exchange for the right fitment. But I'm still wondering why people in other threads use and recommend NGK LFR6AIX-11 (6619) for M271 engine?

Has anybody in this forum used Bosch plugs FR 8 DPP 33 + with the M271. The difference between this and the MB plugs NGK ILFR 6 A seem to the heat range (8 is hotter!) and the gap size (1.0 mm instead of 0.8 mm in the NGK). Of course, the NGK is from Japan and the Bosch is from Germany.

the Bosch plug recommended by the aforementioned factory approved service products manual (for the US version of the 2005 C230 w/ M271) is FR6332. that is what I used.
