Just lowered hood, everything fine but now windows, seats, hood and central locking not working. I'm guessing not a fuse, as so many things affected??

I saw this in the Audio & Telematics forum, and started to respond there. However, these are really not issues pertinent to that forum, so I am re-posting here.

What were you working on that had the hood open in the first place? The hood release is not connected to the windows, seats, or central locking. Knowing what you were working on could help suggest the source of the problem.

Don't guess about fuses, check them.

Windows and seats could be fuses or a door control unit. Check your fuse diagram.

Thanks, Warren, for both replies!

I was not working on anything, but had simply lowered the soft top (hood in the UK). Happily the problem has resolved itself for no particular reason, apart from locking and unlocking the car.
