Everytime i start driving , around the 6-8 miles/hour mark I hear clicking noises coming from the gearbox/shifter .Also when i slow down at the same speed(6-8 miles/hour)i hear the same clicking noises. If i drive the car for more than 1 hour and stop or slow down below 10miles per hour, i hear the same noises and also few more coming from the passenger side. Any suggestions cause the dealer idn't give me any clues.
Thanks in advance

I have the same problem
I would also like to know the answer

it almost sounds like metal rubbing against metal
everytime the car starts to move.

a mercedes dealer said it could be a suspension problem...but I would really like to know if anyone has the answer to this one..

it could easily be the brake dust shields rubbing on the wheels, or one of the heat shields under the car body next to the drive shaft is loose, or ?

I HAD SOME CLICKING NOISES THAT EVENTUALLY TURNED INTO KNOCKING NOISES AND VIOLENT VIBRATIONS FROM THE GEARBOX. IT TURNED OUT TO BE THE RUBBER PROPSHAFT COUPLING HAD DETERIORATED.
