hi its been a while since i've had any trouble out of my s class last week i pressed the accellerator and the car hessitated to pull off it sorta stalled then slowly caught itself and went at 1500 rpm it seemed like there may have been a transmission issue or a problem with fuel or air getting to the engine (i'm no mechanic so i really don't know) and then it stopped and drove fine after the initial take off from 0-1500 rpm over that the problem disappears. i also noticed the check engine light was on. i had it read and it came back with error #p0104 mass airflow/ vane airflow circuit intermittent. i changed out the mass airflow sensor in response to that and i'm still getting the same problem driving. its not all the time it is an intermittant problem but i need it fixed. any idea?

Did you buy a genuine MB MAF or a knock off cheap one?

When I've been messing with the MAF a couple times I accidentally forgot to connect it. Car still ran. Poorly enough to where I caught the mistake PDQ but my experience with a non-existent MAF connection was that it didn't stall out like that. Sorry I can't offer any constructive advice :(
