Considering purchase of a 91 300E sedan but it has some quirks I wanted to work through first. The biggest one is the car dying and running very rough when the car reaches full operating temperature. Any ideas on possible culprits on this one guys? The car has no vacuum leaks and has had a recent tune up (plugs, cap, rotor). What could it be? Possible ECTS failure? Would an O2 sensor cause it to run this rough and even die if it were out (I wouldn't think so)? Could the distributor itself be causing this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated on this one guys. Thanks.

soundquest: You might have better luck with this question in the W202 forum.

Yes, you are right. For some reason, I was thinking it was the same as the 190E, which was a W201. W202 was a typo.
