until it's dry I won't know what's going on. I'm assuming the wet cables going to the fuses for the windows is causing a short but honestly hard to tell what's going on right now.
Are you saying the windows don't work either?
Did you fill up with possible bad fuel recently?
Did you carefully inspect the sparkplug leads and other wiring under the engine cover?
Did you do a fuel pressure test?

Perhaps when everything drys out you might be just lucky. Also the 2 distributor caps as I believe your 95SL has them but I could be wrong, could be full of moisture.

OK, first things first. Check behind the passenger side seat and open the storage (rear seat) lid. Remove the plastic lining and dry out that area. It has the softtop control module and the wiring for the fuel pumps routed underneath. Remove the softtop control module and dry that out. Then ensure that all your drains are unclogged, especially the side drain on the passenger side B-pillar under the softtop flap cover. (open the softtop and then remove the flap and check the drains). Did you have the hardtop on or was the car parked outside with the softtop closed?

The trunk area drains should be checked, but the fuses are so far up that it would be a miracle if they are the cause of your trouble.

Heavy rain came through and leaked through passenger side of trunk. A lot of moisture on everything on the passenger side. Battery, battery cables, the panel by all the wires. Is there anything in the passenger side of the trunk that would be effecting the cars ability to stay working drive and reverse? I pulled the battery and it's fine. I checked the fuel pump relay put and it was fine as well. Is there anything else that will be the cause?
For what it is worth...the fuses back in the truck could have caused an issue with the Over Voltage relay...check the 10 amp fuse...?

It would really help to find out where the leak is coming from and evaluate all damp areas, work around those wet areas and find what systems it is controlling. Start with the obvious first. Next check all the fuses and relays, if good take a sample of gas to detect water and last which I think is the problem is all your fuel filters. Good luck!

I suggest pulling all and every connector that could have got wet and cleaning it. If water gets in they stay wet a long time and then corrode to the point where they no longer make contact.
