hello
I have heat coming thru the windshield, and dash vents, but none thru the lower vents. Is this a vacuum issue or some thing else.
Thanks

Which HVAC button do you have depressed when this occurs?

Start checking for vacuum leaks. The main feed for the HVAC control pods comes from the tri-connector above the power brake booster, near the fire wall (should be yellow in color).

Keep us posted and good luck,

Thanks for the info and sorry about the reply delay. I see what your talking about, but I think this issue is above my pay grade at this time. The car is going in for a left control arm, strut and related items this week. I'll talk with the shop about the problem and options/budget at that time.
Thanks again

The right side was done last week.

Do a search the vacuum leak check for the climate control is right behind the glove box/passenger air bag. What he is mentioning only needs like a mighty mini vac and 20 minutes. The "pods" for the vent doors may be an issue is what jayare means.

Why so much work on the front end? Did you hit something? Usually not that much goes bad all at once? Hope you get it sorted out. The more you do yourself the cheaper owning this vintage of benz will be. If I took mine to the shop I wouldnt have a dime and I wouldnt own the car lol. Almost 20 years of age starts to get to the maintenence.
