The first day I owned the car, the Heater/AC fan worked. Then I opened up the fuse box to check the sunroof fuse. (roof inoperable.) I checked all the fuses, replaced the cover, now the fan doesen't work. I pulled out the control unit, (connections are good), and checked the fuse box again. Is the heater/AC fan called the "Blower motor" or the "Accessory fan"? In any case, all fuses are intact and there is no evidence of corrosion. I have to think I'm missing something here. Are there any fuses related to the Heater/AC fan outside the main fuse box?

About the sunroof, to manually crank it back, do I just turn the 17mm white nylon nut mounted to the roof motor, or are there any locknuts I should worry about before cranking away on the nylon nut?

The proper fuse is labled blower motor. the other is the fan in front of the radiator. I've never manually cranked open my roof but there should be a drive gear socket or tool resting in its holder by the driver side trunk hinge thats used to crank open the roof. If not there, its in many cars at wrecking yards because nobody usually knows what its for! Some have said the socket on the tire lug wrench is the correct size to use? I cannot verify, I sold my car. Regarding the fuse issue, remove the fuse, exchange it for a copper element type and reinstall. In rare cases, simply rotating the fuse in its holder can restore power thru the fuse.

Thanks!
I replaced the fuse with the copper type and still nothing. I find it strange that the blower motor failed the moment I opened the fuse box, I'll keep messing with the fuse and contact points...
