Heated seats. How hot?
Hi all,
I'm wondering how hot the heated seats are supposed to get on position 2? When I was looking at the 1999 S 320, I noticed that the seats did warm up, but didn't get very hot, the way they do in some other cars I've driven. Do they maybe just take a while to roast you? I had them on for about five minutes before I shut off the ignition, and I remembered thinking they weren't hot enough.
Do these heaters typically just fail when they fail, or is it possible that it's heating correctly for position 1, but not for position 2 on the switch?
