Hi Stewedg,

Have you had any luck with your rear screen?

I have exactly the same problem, only 2 thirds of mine works. Unfortuanately the bit that doesnt work is in the middle.
I guess its a faulty connection somewhere in the element and so far have not looked. Any advice would be much appciated....especialy with the weather we've been having over the last few weeks.

Wife is out with the car so I can't check. Are the MB rear windows embedded wires? or silk screened onto the glass?

It they are silk screened, there a break or scratch in one of the lines. These can be repaired by you.

The filaments are embedded in the glass, not silk-screened. is there an easy way of stripping the interior trim around the window to see what is going on? Could there be bad connection behind the side trim? If so is there a fix?
