Lately my heat hasn't been coming on at all regardless of what setting its on. My AC compressor already blew last year and I can deal without AC but no heat in Syracuse = bad. The only time the heat has come on is when I stomp the throttle after the car has been fully warmed up then I get a nice blast of hot air. Other than that I get absolutely nothing and I have no idea where to start looking.

Also I need the part numbers for the sliding/lifting gears on the sunroof, the rubber part on the rear of the sunroof that retracts and pushes the lift gears.

Probably didn't help any that I bottomed out the car on a huge hill here on campus.

Check your monovalve. A search will probably tell you how to do it.

checked the monovalve and everything looked ok. Seals were fine and nothing obviously wrong to me.

Umm... sounds like a vacuum leak is preventing the air diverters from opening/closing as specified by the climate contol unit. I would check thst first.

BTW the tip was the hot air when you stomped the throttle... you may momentarily overcome the vacuum leak.

Also, driving home for 200 miles I noticed the heat turned on but very lightly even when the heat was off. It made my legs feel really hot. However, when I want to turn the heat on when not driving over 65 it doesn't seem to work at all.
