Gen 1 Euro 500SE...also with decent bumpers.
Plus a 380SE with 16" Centras.
Cheers!

Not sure why but this popped into my head.

Why should anyone aspire to be a common man, an average man? Do you realize what it means to be average? That means your the best of the lousiest and the lousiest of the best. Now if we demand more and more for producing less and less, while the have-not nations encourage and inspire, and indeed require hard work and maximum effort - if we deify the common men while they encourage and reward the uncommon ones - Well, the end result of such a lopsided race as that is too obvious to require elaboration.

Well at least the last few words.

The point being if there is a member who is looking for pieces to that particular, hard to source interior, can find it there, for cheap. And grab some cheap wheels while you're at it.

What was the point of your reply?

I appreciated it an I don't even want either product you mentioned...I wish people did JY alerts more often, but I understand why they don't. It can get pretty competitive for certain products as I have learned myself repeatedly. Good on ya' Kalifornia.

No worries man...I wish we could save every single w126 out there!

I goofed up though, actually the interior was grey velours, not cloth. The drivers seat didn't even show the usual wear...bummer, really.

Made sense to me. I wish we had this amount of junkyards in the UK. There don't seem many now, and the ones there are seem to crush cars quite quickly anyway.

At the JY on Milliken in Ontario, there's a 280SE sitting on nice 16" Remotec mesh wheels. There's the obvious scrapes and curbings from it being in a JY environment, but could probably be cleaned up nice.

Can anyone in Cali pull all the grey velour seat covers for me provided the jy is price reasonable?

Seat covers are $4.99+tax. Alas, I don't have time to run down there again for the next couple of weeks...maybe put an ad on craigslist and pay somebody $50 to do the honors if nobody steps up here.

Yes I'll pay $50.00 for the errand + the $4.99+tax cost of the velour seat covers: 2 front seats, & bottom and backseat grey velour covers from this car; if front driver arm rest is also there I'll take it; anyone?

Thanks for the heads up Kalifornia.

Taylor, so you say this because you wanted to swap your interior to velour? or were you going to grab the Centras?
No, no. I don't need either. I was more pouting over the fact that we don't have such a wealth of yards, and thus available parts, over here in Georgia.
