Snagged a couple of trim rings yesterday at the local pick a part. Wanted all four but the screw heads were all stripped out on the other two. I'll get them later...will either drill the screws out or maybe try some vice-grips. Either way they're toast. Did a forum search on trim ring screw size and nothing. The existing screws mic'd out at a tick under 4mm. Had a 4mm x .75 tap and used it on a scrap piece of aluminum. Old screw threaded in just perfect. Headed down to the local Ace Hardware which has a very good selection of metric hardware. Found some 4mm x .7 screws there. Tested them on the tapped piece of aluminum and later on the car...threaded right in. Screw length is about 5mm.
