The lenses on my 500se are really dirty and fogged inside. Can I take them off and put them back on or do I need to install a new set once I remove the old ones? Also is there a difference in the quality of replaement lenses? I've seen them for $60 each up to $75 each. What about the clear side markers, those I have seen range from $50 a set to over $120 a set. Thanks, this place is quite the inspiration to get all the little, and big, things fixed on my cars.

I take it you have the euro headlights?

supposedly they are removable, but between certain years, they glued the lenses on, so you'll have to take a look at what you have on the car (unless someone knows which years they were).

Thanks, yeah they are euros. I'll take a look and see but they will need to be replaced someday so maybe I'll just order the news ones anyway.

Euro headlight lenses are replaceable and are about $50 each. Take the headlight assembly out of the car and the clips that hold the glass in place are readily apparent. Simple job.

I think that Jonathan sells them a little cheaper than that. Sorry Jonathan, I don't want to put words in your mouth ;-).
