The headlight lenses on my 2002 E320 4-matic are clouded up on the inside.
VIN # indicates that these are xeneon headlight assemblies which I have been unable to find.
Suppliers have halogen assemblies but list xenon as out of stock with no estimated date of resupply.
I've checked eBay, Google, etc. - no luck.
I have located replacement lenses but technical folks I've spoken with are unwilling to tackle that work.
They say that replacing lenses is dicey (requires oven heating the whole assembly to loosen the lenses) and labor intensive.
Can someone give me a lead on how to approach this?

Most fogging or yellowing happens on the outside of the lens and they're generally not supposed to be replace-able on their own. I know whole headlights are very pricey, but try genuinemercedesparts.com autohausaz.com and fcpeuro.com
