Hi,

I'm struggling to fit the headlamp glass with the clips. Easy to take them off, but refitting the clips seems hard to do. There must an easy way to do it. Please show me the way to put the clips on.

Thanks,

Peter

If you put the clips on the Light frame first and push them onto the glass it works a lot better. A small flat screwdriver inserted into the slot in the middle of the clip will work to expand the clip enough to pop over the glass lip. Do them one at a time.
Hope this helps.

Hi,

Yes that makes sense. Thanks for your quick help.

When I renewed the rubbers on mine I found it easier the other way; putting one end on the vertical lip on the glass and just using thumbs to push down and forward until it clipped over the plastic back...
Saying that I have strong hands like shovels :) and I used a small friction/ratchet strap to hold the glass tightly in position as the first clip forced the glass out of position...and the other way round I was struggling to compress the gasket at the same time as fighting the clip.

Hi Nick,

Thank you for your reply. I like the idea of the ratchet strap, that will allow me focus on the clips, rather than holding the glass as well.
