Courtesy of Redliner, an excellent opening salvo from Europe! I'm tempted to award a bonus point purely for variety, but Mike and I must be seen to be unbiased. I am expecting the home of the V8 to 'see us and raise us'.

It ought to apply only to vehicles currently owned!!
If I added up the cylinders of all vehicles and boats I've owned, I'll take the cigar now......even though I don't smoke :D

Just remember if you count the past owned cylinders.....
It also reveals your age?

I am not falling for this. Haha.
Hey, go away...stop counting my cylinders. :(

Regards,
aam.

:surrender:Yes, Redliner, Steve6 and I are only counting cylinders currently in the stable! Although I am pitifily behind, I am still young! I am going out shopping for a couple MB 600 somethings just to park in the yard!:D

After all, if you are going to bend the rules, I never said they had to run!

How about you?
"...cylinder count coming along?" to me implies collective over time.
Only rule stated here is "no lawn mowers" - otherwise NO "RULES".

RedLiner - "It ought to apply only to vehicles currently owned!!"
RKH - "I agree, otherwise someone who owns an used car lot would jump in and win."

Sorry I don't think inside the same box you guys do.:D and when I die, I'll "win" because I'm going to heaven, regardless of how many cylinders I currently have or had.

Since we are just gloating about vehicles, I justed wanted to gloat about what vehicles I have owned - why not?

And why not indeed? Some great vehicles being mentioned. It's just a bit of pre Christmas fun I suggested to Mike (RoadKing) based upon his footnote, if you want to quote both current and lifetime cylinder count, please do . It's not like there's a prize, just the glory and bragging rights. Personally I'm still very proud that I appear to be the only owner of a 4 seat, 4 door, 2 CYLINDER, motor car, (Citroen 2CV 602cc, 29 BHP, 0 -60mph in 39 secs) but it doesn't help me much in this competition sadly .
Keep 'em coming!
Regards
Steve

The last year I have stepped down, but I think I might be in the top for average number of cyl/car.
For a few years until last year I owned 2 SL600 and a BMW 540, 32 cyl divided by three cars... Total of 16.4 litres...

Oh yeah, I still have a Austin Healey Sprite (Frogeye) stuffed away in boxes, does not count...
