Have I lost my mind!?

What force compels a middle aged man to sell an Oldsmobile and buy a 22 year old 300TD with 169K miles on it? At any rate, it's a done deal and hopefully the beginning of a new car adventure. The car has many small problems, but I have a good mechanic and a strange addiction to the clatter of 5 cylinder diesels. The forum was a great resource and very encouraging of taking the MB plunge.

I'm going to make you feel good and myself feel sad at the same time. No you are not insane for selling your Olds to buy a 123, it's really a very rational decision. I am a middle aged man who GAVE AWAY my 72 Olds Cutlass Supreme to my nephew so I would have the garage space to buy my 2nd 123. Since then I bought a 124 so now I have 3 total and that is just plain sick. My wife reminds me of it daily.......

Cheers back at ya, Cyberbach
