I have seen this thing a couple of times. Does anyone know if it works and have tried it. If it does, then I want one. I am tired to the stealership screwing us on keys:

This only applies to SMART cars. This claims to allow you to program a key to the vehicle, once you buy it from the dealer. As of right now if you buy a key from a dealer they will most likely make you have them program it or they won't give it to you. That is per the new MB Theft Related Parts newsletter issued to the dealerships.

That is atleast the protocol at the dealer I work for in FL. So don't quote me on the others.
