Cars did not get flooded but got damage when a tornado destroyed the house and garage S55 has small dents and scrapes all around and rear window is broken.

Adjuster said both cars are in good condition.

I'm now waiting for the valuation by the insurance company and like to see if anybody has any tips on what to expect or do?

Sorry to see

an insurer will let you take the salvage check And buy back the cars very cheaply if you want to fix yourself or sell to someone else

If they are not flooded and just have scratches and dents I would like to buy them

I'm waiting on the insurance company to get me their numbers. I don't have space to store them so more than likely I may consider buying back the S55 as it has scrapes and small dents versus the SL55 which has dents and the trunk hit the roof.

Ouch...hate to see that happen to cars like that.

And I might be interested in the sedan if you decide you're ready to move on from it.

Sorry for your loss.

The s55 buy back is going to be $2500ish ans they will payout like 10,000. For my 04 s55 they paid out the 10k ish because it was a well documented car with renntech mods. If your buy back is low i will be interested if it isnt flooded and the car runs and drive.

Well I have settled with the insurance company and decided to keep the S55 and let the SL55 go.

I'm going to search for another SL55
