Hello, since I've bought my R129 my girlfriend wants to buy one. I can get one for a good price but it has a cracked rear window on the hardtop. The dealer here wants $1631. Does anyone have one or know of a wrecker with one? Any help is appreciated!

Mark why dont' u just change the glass ? Carglass or such can be able to help for sure and u won't waste 1600+ bucks.

You can get complete regular hard tops on the German eBay for 300 - 400 Euros. I know it's a bit far away from Canada and the German sellers rarely ship, but just to give you an idea.. Have you tried the US eBay?

OK, I'll be honest with you. I didn't think of that. Working in a dealership has me in the "OEM Parts Only" mindset. I called Speedy Auto Glass today. They can do it for alot less.

The glass itself is available from the dealer and is surprisingly modestly priced (at least in the UK).
