Depending on whether or not you have the newer body style with the power top there is a schmund hardtop on sale in germany for 2500 Euros.

Well Maxwell it is a 1994 model so it is still the older style. Please forward me the details.

Unfortunately it won't do you any good as it was for the 96 or newer body type. Check Dutch's link though.

yup..........only the newer models...........I mounted one on my 2002 400CDI............it's only a pain mounting it and taking it off again plus you have to insulate it or the noise reduction is not worth the effort.......[xx(]

Schmunde does show a hard top for the older 463 body type on their website.

But yes, two other people I know with the hardtop said it is not an operation you would want to do more than once or twice a year....
