My friend's 97 W210 stumbles all over the place if you let it sit for more than a day or two and then start it up. Everything is fine after it warms up. New plugs, wires, ignition coils, air filter, throttle body cleaned and MAF replaced. Any ideas on what it could be? Fuel pressure regulator or fuel pump check valve perhaps? Do the 210's have EGR valve tube clogging issues like the W124 -M104 engines do?

What is your friend's car, E320 or 420? If it's a 320 then he has the M104. Then almost everything applies from your 124.
